- It is a cerumenolytic agent, an ear drop solution that is used to help relieve earwax buildup and facilitate its removal.
- Works by increasing the water content in the earwax, making it softer and easier to remove.
- Helps to loosen and break down the wax, allowing it to naturally migrate out of the ear canal.
- Also helps to decrease the redness, swelling, and itching from infection.
- For ear use only.
- The patient should be directed to fill the ear with Otosol on two consecutive nights only, before attending for syringing.
- Contains 0.5% Docusate Sodium.
