Description
- Prophylaxis of neonatal ophthalmia due to Neisseria gonorrhoeae or Chlamydia trachomatis.
- Superficial ocular infections of the conjunctiva &,/or cornea are caused by organisms susceptible to erythromycin.
- It works by killing or slowing the growth of sensitive bacteria.
- Erythromycin ophthalmic ointment should be applied directly to the infected eye 4-6 times daily.
- Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
