- A combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Sitagliptin and Metformin.
- Used in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus as initial therapy to improve glycemic control when diet & exercise alone do not provide adequate glycemic control.
- It helps the pancreas produce more insulin, facilitates the effective use of insulin by the body, and reduces excess sugar that your liver makes.
- Should be taken with food.
- Each tablet contains Sitagliptin phosphate monohydrate 50 mg and metformin HCl 1000 mg.
