Chicken Popcorn (with gravy)

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 kilo chicken breast fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 Large eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cooking oil

 

Instructions:

  •  In a medium-sized bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper until combined.
  • Dip the chicken fillet cuts one by one in egg, then dredge in the flour-cornstarch mixture. Repeat the procedure then deep-fry in a pot with preheated oil until golden brown.
  • Serve with mushroom gravy (optional).
