A Caesar salad is a green salad of lettuce and croutons dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, egg, worcestershire sauce, garlic, mustard, parmesan cheese, and black pepper.
Ingredients
1 egg yolk
2 boiled eggs
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mustard
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 large lettuce, cleaned and cut
Freshly grated Parmesan
2 cups croutons/baguette (since we don't have it in store, why not try Oishi Bread Pan or toasted bread for your toppings?)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire, and mustard. Slowly whisk in the oils to emulsify. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.
Place the lettuce in a large bowl. Sprinkle with Parmesan and black pepper. Drizzle with desired amount of dressing and toss well. Sprinkle top with croutons and boiled egg slices.
Note : You may also covert this into mixed fruits and vegetable salad. Just add varieties of fruits and vegetables in your bowl.
